Restoration Project on Cittamodakāvya Begins

In 1989, Prof. Malinee Goswami began the restoration of the manuscript text of Cittamodakāvya of Sasthikādāsa under the support of the Anundoram Borooah Institute of Language, Art and Culture.

The project later led to the publication of Sasthikādāsa’s Cittamodakāvya and stands as an important contribution to manuscript recovery and textual scholarship in Assam.
